The Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers held the first-ever Louisiana Collegiate Career Fair on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Baton Rouge River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The event featured over 50 state and regional employers offering opportunities for May 2009 college graduates and recent alumni. Additionally, many employers were offering internship opportunities for students who were preparing for the future career.

Over 500 students and alumni from colleges and universities across the state attended the fair.

There are no plans for a fair in spring, 2010.
